The Hunters Inn

The Hunters Inn has immense charm & character and sits at the heart of the stunning Heddon Valley - ideal for exploring both the wild beauty of Exmoor and the North Devon Coastline.

We are open every day from 10am-11pm for Coffees, Lunches, Cream Teas and Dinners. Popular tables are near the log fire in the winter or out on the patio or terrace in the summer. The bar thrives on a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Our menu tries to cater for everyone - whether you are on a family outing, a gentle walk, a hard hike, a get-together with friends, a business lunch or a romantic dinner.

We also have menus that cater for private parties, functions or weddings.
We use locally-sourced fresh food whenever possible.

The menu offers simple lunch snacks, Traditional & Modern British main meals, and homemade desserts; with child-size portions & vegetarian options always available. This means you are catered for whether you want a lunchtime baguette, a traditional Homemade Steak Pie or Fish and Chips, or something more elaborate such as Venison with a Shallot & Juniper Berry Sauce or Tagliatelle with Black Tiger Prawns and Crab in a Dill Cream Sauce.

We are North Devon CAMRA (campaign for real ales) Pub of the Year 2009 and there are 5-6 real ales on at any one time as well as real cider and a good wine list.
