This unspoilt heritage village is filled with colourful flower-strewn cottages that seem to tumble over one another down the steep and narrow cobbled street which descends towards the tiny harbour. To stay at the New Inn in the heart of the village is to wake up to the sights and sounds of a seafaring way of life that has changed little over the last hundred years.

By Road:
From A39, Bideford roundabout, follow A39 towards Bude. After approximately 10 miles turn right at Clovelly Cross roundabout and follow the road down to Clovelly. Turn right into the Visitor's Centre car park. If the centre is closed, go through the gate at the side and walk down the path into the village. The New Inn lies in the heart of the village on the right.
