“The best of both worlds” is how our guests describe Pickwell Barton cottages.
Three well-equipped 3-bedroom cottages sleep 2-8 people, a 10/15-minute walk across our fields to Putsborough and Woolacombe sands, Saunton, Croyde are just 2 miles.You can ride, play golf or surf the waves.

At Saunton you have the Championship Golf Course and Braunton Burrows Biosphere Reserve – a special place for people and nature. The south west coast path that runs through the bottom of our farm (and many footpaths on our farm) gives the walker, we think, some of the most spectacular views of the North Devon coastline.

Pickwell is a small hamlet quietly situated at the back of Putsborough with our fields extending down to the beach, just a mile from the beautiful villages of Georgeham and Croyde which offers churches, gift shops, a collection of pubs all offering good food with gardens or conservatories for children, surf schools and shops, riding stables and a variety of other things to do.

Enjoy listening to the sea, and watching the abundance of wildlife in their natural habitats. The magnificent sunset over Lundy Island is not to be missed and can be seen from our fields.

Pickwell Barton Cottage: Sleeps 2-6: Sorry no pets.
No 2 Sunnyside: Sleeps 2-7: Well behaved dogs by arrangement.

All our cottages are situated on the farm, spacious and comfortable with ample parking, Private gardens, patio, BBQ, garden furniture.

Linen and towels are included.

Colour TV, DVD players, open fire place, CD player, Radio, fully equipped kitchen, cooker, hob, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine.
Tumble dryer, dishwasher, full central heating in the Cottage and Court only.

Cot, highchair are in all cottages.

Our water supply is natural spring water and each Cottage has it’s own filtration and treatment unit.

By Road:
From M5 junction 27, A361 to Barnstaple and Braunton. At Braunton left onto B3231 for Saunton and Croyde. At Croyde post office right for Georgeham. On entering village left at village hall for Putsborough, then right to Pickwell; 0.5 mile to cottages.

By Public Transport:
From Barnstaple - 10 miles
Not suitable to arrive by bus - Georgeham bus stop 1.25 miles away.
