Wheel Farm Cottages in Combe Martin, converted from a 17th century watermill and farm barn, are the perfect choice for a premium self-catering country cottage break.

Mixing rustic charm with modern comforts, the eleven self-catering cottages retain many original features including exposed beams, stone brick walls and wood burning stoves.

Set in an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" in North Devon, only a few miles from some of the finest North Devon beaches, and Exmoor's spectacular coastline, Wheel Farm Cottages are ideally located for exploring the countryside and surrounding area.

The cottages also boast fantastic on-site private facilities for the exclusive use of guests, including a heated indoor pool with sauna and an outdoor tennis court.
There's also a children's play area and seven acres of gardens, grounds and woodland so there's plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Pets are also accepted in selected accommodation - with a small charge.
Available for weekend, midweek and full week breaks, there are eleven cottages, sleeping between two to ten people, including the brand new farmhouse which is ideal for larger groups.

From the M5 motorway

Take exit 27 to Tiverton / Barnstaple (A361), the North Devon link road.
Bypass Tiverton and South Molton.
Two miles beyond South Molton turn right at roundabout onto A399 to Combe Martin.
After approximately 12 miles, at Blackmore Gate cross roads, continue straight on towards Combe Martin on the A399.
After approximately 3 miles turn left on A3123 sign posted Woolacombe (do not go to Combe Martin).
Continue for approximately 3 miles to 'T' junction at Berry Down Cross. Turn right here, sign posted Combe Martin.
After approximately ½ mile, Wheel Farm Cottages can be seen on the right. Turn in by the big Victorian stone house.
Do not go into the drive to that house but continue downhill on tarmac drive, bear right onto the stone drive to the car park for the cottages.

From Barnstaple

Take A39 towards Lynton. After approximately 2 miles (past the North Devon Hospital) take the left turn at Shirwell Cross sign posted B3230 Ilfracombe.
After approximately 2 miles turn right up Whitefield Hill signposted Combe Martin. Continue straight on for approximately 3 miles to 'T' junction on a bend.
Turn here onto A3123. Continue straight on to Combe Martin. After approximately 1 mile Wheel Farm Cottages can be seen on the right.
Turn in by the big Victorian stone house. Do not go into the drive to that house but continue downhill on tarmac drive.
Bear right onto the stone drive to the car park for the cottages.
