Plantwalk
Plantwalk offers individual guided flower walks in the North Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB), in particular in Hartland. This is a unique opportunity to 'see' North Devon from a different angle; to learn more about wild flowers and enjoy some of the fascinating stories associated with them.
Plantwalk is run by local wild flower enthusiast and writer, Clare Gurton, who will arrange to walk with you at a time and from a location of your choice. Walks can include from 2-10 people and can be booked from 2 hours to a full day; see website for more details www.plantwalk.co.uk .
"Walking is good for your physical and mental health and so are wild plants - join me to look at the huge variety of insects that depend on our common wild plants, wander through meadows high with buttercups and take a closer look at grasses. Smell the gorse, taste the sorrel, learn about country names and recipes and go home inspired and interested."
Prices
Prices depend upon the duration of the walk and number of people in the group. Typically, a 2 hour tailored walk, for up to 8 people, would cost £40.00
