Watermouth Bay
Watermouth cove offers a very sheltered secluded harbour, shielded by the natural breakwater of Sexton's Burrows as well as picture-perfect views. This has created an ecosystem for many rare marine species attracting many boats to moor there. The bay is located within the hamlet of Watermouth between Hele Bay and Combe Martin. The settlement's Edwardian castle, just over the road from the harbour, Watermouth Castle, is currently used as a family theme park

By car, the easiest route to Watermouth Cove is to leave the M5 Motorway at Junction 27 following the signs for Barnstaple A361.
Take the right exit on the roundabout signposted A399 and continue on this road for 16 miles following all signs to Combe Martin. Go through the village Combe Martin, and continue on A399 for 2 miles and Watermouth Cove is clearly signposted on the right.
We strongly recommend that touring caravans avoid the A39 coast road through Lynton & Lynmouth.
