Meadpool House is set amidst glorious countryside, on the banks of the East Lyn River, in the peaceful Brendon Valley, within the Exmoor National Park.
This Edwardian family home provides superior bed and breakfast accommodation, all rooms enjoying glorious Exmoor views. A hearty breakfast is served each morning with fresh eggs from resident hens, homemade preserves and local produce whenever possible.
You are assured of a warm welcome. Relax and unwind in the guest's lounge, or in the lovely riverside garden, and enjoy a pot of tea or coffee and homemade cake on your arrival.
Meadpool House is ideally situated for walking, cycling and horse riding, with a vast network of moorland, coastal and riverside tracks on the doorstep. Anglers are catered for too, the East Lyn being famed for its salmon and trout.
The pretty towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, connected by an historic cliff railway, and the dramatic North Devon coast, are all close by. Discover, too, the Doone Valley, location of the famous novel, Lorna Doone. Within a short drive are the picturesque moorland villages or Malmsmead, Oare, Exford, Dulverton and Dunster and the coastal towns of Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Porlock.
