Enjoy glorious sunsets from this Devonshire hilltop campsite.
Beautifully located right above the Exmoor coast, with panoramic views over to Wales from many pitches. The area is a walker's paradise, with coastal walks and the Exmoor National Park both nearby. A footpath from the site leads through a wooded valley to the coastline, offering spectacular views and the chance to see dolphins at Lee Bay.
Lynton town has a number of shops, tearooms and other places to eat, and you can also ride the rails on the water-powered Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway or on the narrow gauge steam trains of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway.
The nearest sandy beaches are Woolacombe and Croyde are famous for excellent for surfing and other watersports in North Devon.
Fancy leaving the car behind for a day, then take the local bus with a stop near the site they go to Barnstaple and Ilfracombe or Porlock and Minehead.
