Painting Holiday at Spreacombe Gardens

We are really excited to have teamed up with a local, award winning artist, Miranda Goode. She's a great teacher and passionate about art.

Enjoy starting or improving your skills at landscape painting in the beautiful Spreacombe Valley and locality and fully immerse yourself in the North Devon landscape.

The lessons are to be booked on demand, subject to numbers and can be tailored to your individual needs whether you are a beginner or would just like some time to develop your painting in some stunning locations.

A wide range of media and techniques will be explored in both drawing and painting, working in mixed media and mono printing. You will learn to develop images and ideas from drawings into paintings, and learn to mix and use colour in oil paints.

Come and be creative within the inspiring surrounding of the beautiful North Devon landscape with encouragement and enthusiastic tuition from Miranda.

Miranda Goode
Miranda Goode is a young, award winning artist, living and working in North Devon. She was born in 1981, in Poole, Dorset; the daughter of the well known Dorset painter Robert Woolner. She graduated in 2003 from a BA (hons) degree in Fine Art at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth. Living near the sea the coastal landscapes of North Devon are a great source and inspiration for her paintings.

Spreacombe Gardens are a group of six holiday bungalows nestled in the picturesque, wooded Spreacombe valley, less than 4 miles from the stunning North Devon Coast. Each
property sleeps 4-5 so non artists are more than welcome to share your home and enjoy a separate holiday walking, exploring and taking in the local area. www.spreacombe.com.

For the artists use in wet weather, there is a cosy studio in a barn with a log burner, kitchen and toilet facilities.
