Combas Farm

Old world 17thC farmhouse in secluded situation only 0.75 mile from superb sands. Own produce. Good home-cooking. Directional map sent.

Combas is a small family-run farm of 140 acres. Wisteria and a grape vine ramble over the 17thC farmhouse situated down a well maintained lane in a secluded valley. There is a lovely cottage style garden and orchard- guest's first reaction is 'idyllic' and many just relax here for an hour or so to 'listen to the silence'. It is only a 10 minute walk to Croyde a picture postcard village famed for its surf. Here there are several pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes. Local beaches are sandy and much of the coastline is owned by the National Trust. Combas is close to the South West Way and Tarka Trail. Golf riding and tennis are also nearby.
