Barnstaple Heritage Centre offers great value entertainment for all the family.  Find out fascinating facts about the town’s early history, from Saxons to Civil War, in our hands-on exhibition filled with lights and sounds, quizzes and games.  The Centre is open all year round, stroll through the colonnade of the historic Queen Anne’s Walk on the Strand and begin your journey through time. visit our gift shop for a superb variety of Barnstaple and Devon souvenirs. 

Heritage Tours start at 11am every Thursday (April to October) from outside the Heritage Centre, our guided tour takes you on a captivating walk through the story of this ancient town.  Tour prices are the same as (and include) admission to the Heritage Centre.  Call to book 01271 373003

St Anne’s Arts and Community Centre is a Gothic building in miniature – one of Barnstaple’s oldest buildings dating back to the early 14th century.  It is host to a vibrant programme of arts, music, events, exhibitions, workshops and creative crafts.  The building is open on a regular basis for visitors to drop in, view our displays and uncover the story of this unique venue.
