Details

Lower Hearson Farm is a small family run farm with Rare Breed Pigs, Chickens and Sheep surrounded by gently rolling North Devon countryside with wooded glades. Perfect to get away from it all and forget the stress of everyday living.

It is in a lovely setting of gardens, field and woodland. Surrounding the cottages are 2 acres of gardens making this a perfect place to relax or play. Within the grounds we have an outdoor heated and covered swimming pool, a children's play area, sandpit, trampoline, badminton net and games room.

You are more than welcome to join in. Adults and children alike always enjoy helping us at feeding times for the animals, helping to collect the eggs and rounding up the chickens when it is their bedtime.

Our cottages make an ideal base for exploring Exmoor and North Devon with lots of attractions and beaches for both adults and children within easy reach. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.

From M5 jct 27
Take A361 towards Tiverton. Continue past Tiverton for 34 miles. Before Barnstaple turn left onto A39 Bideford road. After 1 mile, turn left at roundabout signposted Bishops Tawton. Go through Bishops Tawton. Take left turn opposite garage up the hill signed Chittlehampton. After 2 miles at sharp right hand bend take left turn signed Hannaford. Go straight over crossroads and take 2nd right turn signed Middle and Lower Hearson. After Middle Hearson we are at bottom of drive.
