Rock-climbing adventure
Book a taster session on the climbing wall at Rock and Rapid Adventures of South Molton. Suitable from age 7 upwards. If you're not feeling brave enough to have a go yourself, you can sit back and enjoy a coffee while the instructors put your kids through their paces in the indoor facility.
Visit the bees
Spend the day at Quince Honey Farm in South Molton, discover the bees, leaf cutting ants, soft indoor play area and honey shop.
Have fun at Funderzone
Let the little ones blow of some steam at North Devons largest indoor soft play centre. Funderzone features four levels full of fun. Obstacles, tunnels, ball pools, cannons, rope bridges, log ramps, spider webs, punch bags and five slides.

Splash in the surf

Visit the penny arcades
Give the kids a handful of 2 penny pieces and watch them while away an hour at the penny arcades in Westward Ho!. Pop into the Waterfront for lunch, and the kids can keep entertained in the indoor soft play area while you relax.
Paint some pottery
Waves, in Woolacombe, is a 'paint it yourself' ceramic studio and cafe with a wide selection of pottery to decorate. It's easy for anyone from young children to grown-ups to create their own masterpiece.
Take in a show
Visit the Queens Theatre in Barnstaple or the Landmark in Ilfracombe and take in a matinee performance, or book the kids into a workshop for an hour or two.

Ilfracombe Aquarium is an exciting, award winning, all weather educational attraction provides a fascinating insight into the watery world around North Devon.
