……for the perfect Exmoor break!
We run a unique bird of prey and horse riding centre with farmhouse bed & breakfast on Exmoor, within the Exmoor National Park, situated far away from the crowds in the peaceful Porlock Vale, one mile from Porlock and five miles from Minehead, just off the A39 between Allerford & Bossington. If you want peace and tranquility surrounded by idyllic countryside, you will love your visit here.
You can visit for the day and enjoy the amazing 2pm 'Afternoon with the Brids' display when Rod will fly several of his birds right up to your tables and around your feet. This is a unique experience that all the family can enjoy.
If you wish to fly birds you can book into our various bird experiences which take place every morning, ranging from a one hour bird of prey experience to a full day.
The farmhouse is of special historical interest dating back to the Medieval period with exceptional barns and outbuildings unrivalled in the area. It forms part of the National Trust Holnicote Estate, and is a wonderful ancient farmhouse offering lovely tea gardens and bed & breakfast.
If you wish to ride horses across wonderful Exmoor countryside then you will enjoy riding our barefoot horses, gentle, well-mannered, yet forward going, offering some of the best riding in the area. It is little wonder that many of our visitors come from all over the world!
