A well established family run hotel in Ilfracombe is soon to be featured in Channel 5s controversial series The Hotel Inspector. The Osborne Hotel of Wilder Road Ilfracombe is to be portrayed as an example of how hotels specialising in coach parties should run their businesses.

This summer, Rosemoor is giving you the chance to come and delight in the art of the man who brought some of your favourite book characters to life from Mister Magnolia to the BFG and Matilda. There will be five groups of pictures on display including the Green Ship and You?re Only Young Twice as well as other Quentin Blake themed items.

Three wicker giants have been spotted near the River Torridge on the Tarka Trail between the Puffing Billy at Torrington and Weare Giffard.
