Dancer and the Devil

Enter into a dark yet fabulously glitzy world.
Cornish company Rogue Theatre are to bring their mesmerising new theatre show, ‘The Dancer and the Devil'- an exotic and erotic mix of dance, music, poetry, prose and circus skills, to the Landmark Theatre on Saturday 18 February.
The Dancer and The Devil is a theatre show that combines storytelling with musical cabaret. With wild, continental-style of music accompanying the uninhibited abandonment of the dancers, the show blends showmanship with poetry, spectacle with story.
Set in a secret bar, the show's narrative centres around a motley collection of characters who are hiding or running away from their past lives - with hastily packed cases bursting with secrets and stories. Bright, sparkling and full of comic mischief, The Dancer and The Devil invites you to lose yourself in a world of twisted cabaret, the smell of wood smoke and perfume, and the taste of danger.
"The show grips your soul. It is a never-ending spectacle of showmanship: garish, glittering, imaginative, surprising and, at the end, devastating." Whatsonstage?
With Rogue Theatre's trademark highly visual style, energy and passion for celebration and the macabre, The Dancer and the Devil promises a treat for all the senses. Come; enter into a dark yet fabulously glitzy world.
