James May Filming in North Devon

North Devon+ the Northern Devon regeneration, tourism and business support organisation is working with Plum Productions to project manage the James May 'railway challenge' which is being filmed in North Devon next week.

The BBC presenter will be teaming up with wine expert Oz Clarke to compete against a team of German miniature railway enthusiasts in a railway race on Saturday, April 16. May and Clarke will be competing against the trio of German brothers who run the Miniatur Wunderland, the world's biggest model railway exhibition in Hamburg.

North Devon+ were happy to step up to the challenge of project managing the event when approached by Plum Productions.

North Devon+ are co-ordinating a range of services for Plum Productions, from filming locations, through to security, volunteer services, facilities and catering.
