Details

The Red Lion exhibits character everywhere you look. Because of its age, no two bedrooms are the same, yet each of the 11 rooms has a spectacular view, either out to sea or across the harbour.

The adjacent, recently restored Sail Loft provides a further 6 stylish bedrooms, all with sea views.

All rooms are decorated in a style that reflects their maritime heritage as well as offering luxurious en-suite bathrooms.

Falling asleep to the sounds of the sea and waking up to the sight of an ancient, unspoilt harbour or Bideford Bay, is a unique and delightful experience.

Dining at the Red Lion offers you a wonderful choice of fresh, locally caught fish and crustaceans, you may even see it being landed just outside, estate game in season and as much local produce as possible.

This 18th C. inn is also licensed as a wedding ceremony venue.
