Welcome to the beautiful area of Exmoor National park, North Devon, a truly breathtaking place to explore and discover. Even though it is one of the UK's smallest National Parks it is certainly big on natural beauty, stunning scenery and amazing plants and wildlife, so much so that some areas have been declared a Site of Special Scientific interest.
Before becoming a National Park in 1954 Exmoor was a Royal Forest, and is named after the river which flows out of the district the River Exe.
