One End House is an early 18th century property in the centre of Appledore, 50 yards from the Quay and close to the restaurants, cafes and pubs offering a wide variety of food.

We have three letting rooms, a double ensuite, twin with private bath and a single with shared facilities. All rooms are furnished with colour television, clock radios and tea/coffee making facilites.

Appledore is a Free Port for residents of the village and has an active fishing industry. Several restaurants offer locally caught fish on their menus.

Appledore is close by to a number of excellent golf courses including the Royal North Devon Golf club, England's oldest course. Across the estuary at Instow is the oldest cricket club in the country!

For visitors arriving by train or coach we can arrange for collection from Bideford, Barnstable or Tiverton Parkway.

We can also arrange fishing trips from Appledore Quay for visiting anglers. Sailing is popular in the estuary with the local Yacht club in Instow. Westward Ho! a short distance away offers one of the best beaches for surfing, sailboarding and kite surfing. Discounts have been arranged with Torrington Golf Club for all of our visitors.
