The George Hotel, winner of North Devon Tourism Award ‘Best Hotel’ 2007 and ‘Visit Exmoor’ Hotel of the year 2006 is a charming 17th century, grade 2 listed, AA2 star hotel in the centre of South Molton, North Devon. Rich in history, this family run hotel has nine comfortable en suite bedrooms, Exmoor bar, resident’s lounge, function rooms and a delightful restaurant serving a la carte and bar meals. All rooms are en suite with digital TV, wireless internet access, hairdryer, hospitality tray and complimentary guest toiletries.

Road Directions

South Molton is easily accessible from junction 27 of the M5. Take the A361 North Devon Link Road for 30 minutes towards Barnstaple when you will see signs to South Molton. The car park is located immediatly behind the hotel.

From Tiverton Parkway-18 miles
Take A361 towards Barnstaple. Bus or taxi from station. Hotel can arrange collection from station. Buses available outside hotel entrance to Barnstaple and destinations all over the UK (National Express).
