The Appledore Visual Arts Festival was founded in 1997 by the artist Sandy Brown. It is held annually in the beautiful estuary village of Appledore on the banks of the River Torridge in North Devon. It was the first annual visual arts festivals in the country and we believe it is still the best.
Our Festival continues to grow and always offers a diversity of artistic experiences. 2008 is our eleventh year and our theme is ‘Earth’. For details on our programme of events please refer to our 2008 Festival page.
