Bideford Folk Festival 2008

Come to our lovely historic town on the river Torridge in beautiful North Devon for a weeklong feast of music, song and dance. It’s inexpensive and friendly with a mix of wonderful concerts as well as workshops and lots and lots of sessions, singarounds and concerts where you can perform. We have a great campsite with session tent overlooking the river. Bideford is a relaxing festival with Exmoor nearby for walking and some of the best surfing in the UK.

Our venues include the historic schooner the Kathleen & May, the Oldenburg in a trip to Lundy Island as well as theatres, churches, pubs and the quayside. Bideford is inexpensive so a whole week will cost you less than most weekend festivals but you can still enjoy a great line up of national and West Country artistes.
