The Hunters Inn has immense charm and character and sits at the heart of the Heddon valley - ideal for exploring the wild beauty of Exmoor and North Devon Coastline. With the South West Coastal Path and the beach at Heddons Mouth just one miles away lovely walks with stunning views and abundant wildlife are literally on our doorstep.

Our bedrooms are full of character with some having four-poster beds or balconies overlooking the garden perfect for romantic escapes and weddings.
(We are also good for lively weekend, Christmas Breaks and Family Holidays!)

Dining at the Inn means locally reared meat, fresh fish and other local produce whenever possible. There are always vegetarian and child-size options. Popular tables are near the log fire in the winter or out on the patio in the summer.

We are North Devon Camra Pub of the year 2009 so expect to find 5-6 real ales on at any one time as well as a good wine list and a friendly atmosphere.

By Road:
Leave the M5 at Junction 27, taking the a361 towards Barnstaple. At Aller Cross take the A399 towards Combe Martin. About 2 miles after Blackmoor Gate turn right towards the Hunters Inn and Trentishoe. Follow the road over Holdstone Down reaching the Inn after about 4 miles.
