Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park
Ever been inside a meerkats desert enclosure? Fed a lemur or a wallaby? Watched a sea lion play copycat with it's trainer or watched a full sized T-Rex come back to life? If not then a visit to our park is a must! Watch our impressive lions and wolves. Catch our otters feeding, monkeys playing and our birds of prey display. Take part in the amazing sea lion show and the animal handling experiences. There are talks, shows and animal encounters throughout the day to keep the whole family entertained.Come and witness conservation in action - we're involved in a number of worldwide breeding programs and in saving several endangered species. Spend a day of discovery in our stunning park set within a beautiful valley with natural cascading streams and waterfalls, tropical trees and plants and an abundance of indigenous and exotic wildlife. There are 28 acres of gardens and woodland walks for you to enjoy and many rare and unusual trees including the critically endangered wollemi pine, the ginko tree, the indian bean tree and the giant redwood. But make sure you keep an eye out for the Dinosaurs! Lurking within the park there are life size dinosaur models. Face up to our animatronic 18ft high, 40ft long Tyrannosaurus Rex, a pair of vicious interacting Megalosaurs and Dilophosaurus the 'Spitting' Dinosaur, a huge Triceratops and various other terrifying fossils! In our museum you can witness close up, one of the world's largest nests of genuine, ancient and very rare dinosaur eggs! And if you love creepy crawlies then you will love the new 'Bug World' exhibit, the Kingdom of Insects and other Invertebrates. Peer through the windows in the winding cavernous walls and see over 60 different species of insect from one of the largest beetles in the world to one of the most venomous centipedes and dangerous spiders. We also have a small indoor cinema, a tropical house, an indoor
playzone for our much younger visitors and the Tomb of the Pharaohs, a fascinating insight into Egypt, but watch out for the mummy! Take a ride on our Dino Express Train Ride and scream as seven and a half thousand (yes! 7,500) gallons of water
hurtle towards you and your fellow passengers!
