Our unique Potter's Wheel Experience is suitable for children as young as 2 with no maximum age limit! Great family or group holiday activity where you get to make a bowl on a potter's wheel, decorate and glaze it in a fabulously creative 2 hour session. We have regular clay holiday workshops and pottery classes which are suitable for both adults and children.
If you like to paint pottery, we have a wide range to choose from to paint including tableware, money boxes and animals. We love to create painted hand and foot prints and children are very welcome. Our studio is located in beautiful countryside with stunning views and after your activity you're welcome to meet our alpacas and Shetland ponies too.

From Great Torrington: follow the A386 towards Hatherleigh/Okehampton.
At the bottom of the hill, turn right over the bridge. Take the first left at the top of the hill signposted to Little Torrington. Look out for the Tarka Pottery sign
From Hatherleigh/Okehampton: follow the A386 towards Great Torrington. Pass through Merton & Meeth. Then, approx 1/3 mile after Smytham Manor take the first right to Little Torrington, then right at the end of the road. Tarka Pottery is on the left, just after a bend. If you get to the church or Victory Hall, you've driven past us!
SAT NAV will take you to Victory Hall, so keep a look out on your left before the church.
