Corrie Dick • Drums Tom McCredie • Bass Elliot Galvin • Piano Elliot Galvin is a rising star of the European jazz scene, and a key member of Mercury Music Prize nominated band Dinosaur. In 2018 he releases his third album, The Influencing Machine, his debut in Edition Records, featuring bassist Tom McCredie and drummer Corrie Dick. The Influencing Machine is a sonic reaction to the human mind, technology and the post-truth age. Analogue synthesis and electric sounds orbit the acoustic world of piano, bass and drums as the ensemble present some exhilarating new music. One of the rising stars of UK jazz, Elliot is a key member of Dinosaur, led by Laura Jurd. A superbly gifted composer and pianist, his maverick imagination and magpie-like ability to blend a disparate world of influences has seen him compared to Django Bates. “Jazz Music for the Radiohead fan” ROCHESTER CITY NEWSPAPER He’s the kind of artist you always want to stay tuned in to, because you know he’s going to keep on coming up with surprises.' - The Guardian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pRwBV7K_tw
