Cloister Park Cottages

Cloister Park Cottages are set in the former stables of an 18th Century Vicarage in the beautiful hamlet of Frithelstock in North Devon surrounded by farmland and wonderful country views.    

 

The Stables sleeps 4 and The Coach House sleeps 2. 

Cloister Park Cottages are set in the former stables of an 18th Century Vicarage in the heart of North Devon.  Both Cottages are fully equipped and have WiFi. 

We are dog-friendly but only allow one dog per cottage.  

The nearest town is Great Torrington, which is home to RHS Rosemoor set in a steep wooded valley.   

The Tarka Trail is one mile down the hill.  30 miles of its 180 miles is traffic free between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon, perfect for cyclists and walkers.  There are plenty of places to hire bicycles on the Tarka Trail. 

North Devon boasts a combination of stunning and spectacular landscapes with 171 sq km of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s dramatic, rugged coastline embraces awe-inspiring cliffs, hidden coves and golden beaches all sprinkled with areas of wild moorland, glistening river valleys and lush rolling pastures.  Cloister Park is a perfect base to explore all of this. 

The cottages are available to rent from April to October on a weekly basis. Change over day is Saturday.

Road Directions

Exit the M5 at Junction 27, Signpost Barnstaple A361. When you reach the first roundabout at Barnstaple follow signs to Bideford A39. Continue straight at the second roundabout. At the third roundabout, where there is a garage, turn left Signpost Torrington B3212. At Torrington follow signs for Bideford A386 and go through the town. As you leave Torrington go down the hill and where the main road bends, turn left at the Pink Tollhouse, Signpost Frithelstock. After a mile you reach Frithelstock. Cloister Park is on the right.Distance from M5 J27: 43 miles.
