Petrock Holiday Cottages
Petrock Holiday Cottages provide stylish self catering accommodation which is a real alternative to a B&B or hotel. The delightful barn conversion is set in a courtyard position consisting of Motte and Bailey cottages.
Each cottage sleeps 2-4 persons, with a minimum of just a two night stay. To give you a flexible holiday you can start your holiday on any day of the week.
The stylish cottages are charming and welcoming with an open plan living area, well-appointed and comfortable and upstairs there are lovely chic double and twin bedrooms with high pitched ceilings and well-appointed bathrooms.
The village of Newton St Petrock provides an ideal base as a perfect holiday retreat for a couple or family who just want to relax and unwind surrounded by beautiful scenery and countryside.
There is ample off road parking in a shared courtyard. Find your own retreat in the garden with several places where you can relax whilst reading a good book and taking in the rural scenery. Each cottage also enjoys the benefit of having its own seating area with garden furniture for alfresco dining.
Motte cottage is ideal for a couple or couple with younger family members. It has one family bathroom.
Bailey is great for couples who want a larger space or families with extended adult family or two couples, as there is an en-suite to the master king size bedroom plus a family bathroom. The second bedroom can also be made up as a king on request.
Both the cottages have full central heating and double glazing making them warm and cosy for breaks in the cooler months.
The cottages benefit from a raised sunny garden to the rear which are shared and equipped with garden furniture including a gas barbecue. There is ample room for children to play.
There is also bike/surf board storage and each cottage has its own outside store room with a separate freezer.
The owner of the cottages lives next door and is on hand for assistance, advice and recommendations to help you make the most of your holiday.
Petrock Holiday Cottages are close to the Cornwall Devon border, providing an ideal base to explore the surf and sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth bay, the pretty towns and villages of Bideford, Appledore, Clovelly and Hartland. For walkers and cyclists there is the Tarka Trail near-by at Great Torrington and at Okehampton explore the edge of Dartmoor on the Granite Way.
